As the name suggests, The Match Box is a compact self- contained apartment adjoined to our charming old cottage in the beautiful Vale of Evesham close to Broadway and provides the perfect base for touring the Cotswolds.
The Match Box enjoys spectacular views reaching over to Broadway Tower and provides stargazers the delight of Dark Skies.

We provide more than just a bed with breakfast as The Match Box also offers you a neat, well designed private living/dining area with a pretty, galleried bedroom above with en-suite bathroom.
The Living/Dining area is a small, but perfectly formed space and lovely and cosy to come back to after a busy day sight-seeing.
In the summer months, you can open the patio doors and let the outside in.
By making use of every inch of space, its clever design packs in everything you will need including an Italian ‘hideaway kitchen’ that enables you to prepare breakfast and snacks/light meals at your leisure. The kitchen area houses a 2 ring Hob, Combi Microwave/Grill, Fridge with ice box, Slimline Dishwasher and kitchen accessories. Separate kettle & toaster on a sideboard. (Please note: there is no full oven with grill and the microwave grill can only brown off food)
Amenities/Facilities: Iron, Small 1/2 size ironing board, Wi-Fi, TV, DVD player & Bluetooth music speaker.
The bedroom comfortably accommodates a king size bed (that can alternatively be made up as a pair of 2ft 6in single beds -slightly narrower than the average single bed).
Bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and wardrobe & TV. Oak flooring.
Rural views.
En-suite bathroom located next to the bedroom. Bath with overhead Mira shower, toilet, basin, shaver - point and heated towel rail. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided.
You are welcome to use the many sitting areas in our nature-friendly cottage garden overlooking fields of sheep. There are chairs for you to sit with a drink whilst watching the birds and bees in our enchanting meadow and there are a further two sets of tables & chairs for dining alfresco.

Our stay at the Matchbox exceeded all expectations. It's beautifully located with stunning views for miles. There was lots of wildlife out the window including Fenton the pheasant! The Match Box is a great place to stay - beautifully decorated, warm, and well-equipped, and the most comfortable 'holiday' bed we'd slept in for a long time. And sparkling clean too. The location is ideal - very close to the lovely village of Broadway, and perfect for anyone discovering the Cotswolds. We would happily stay there again. - Sandra
Tiny but ..... everything is immaculate, thoughtfully placed and equipped ... open the back (both french doors) and side barn doors and let the outside in ... wonderful back yard cottage garden .. crack a bottle of wine, get some cheese ... and enjoy ... We did! - Rob
We had a wonderful stay at the Match Box. The place is situated in beautiful countryside with lovely views across open fields. We were greeted by an immaculate garden full of colour which the space looks out on. The hosts have thought very carefully about how to make this space very personal and welcoming and there are thoughtful touches everywhere you look. We loved the blankets for the sofa, pillow spray by the bed, little treats to enjoy and every amenity you would need for a comfortable stay. The bed was also exceptionally comfy which made for a good night’s sleep! The place was also spotlessly clean so we could relax right away. The hosts clearly care very much about making your stay memorable. As for the area, you have incredibly easy access to the Cotswolds which was the purpose of our stay. I returned to the Match Box for the second time and the experience was just as I remembered it (if not better). The Match Box is by far the best Air BnB I have stayed in, every detail has been considered to ensure comfort, luxury and tranquility. The Match Box went above and beyond what my girlfriend and I expected. Every detail of the property had been thought out. The interior design made us feel instantly at home and in a space where we could relax. The bedding, towels and toiletries were of the highest quality. We were impressed by the small kitchen hidden away within a cabinet. A great utilisation of the space which enabled us to cook supper, make breakfast and prepare lunches for the days adventures. When the cabinet was closed the space felt like a living room. Kate and Greg were very welcoming hosts who respected our privacy. I would highly recommend this place for couples, solo travellers or people on a business trip in the area. - Ashley
We had a wonderful time at the Matchbox. A beautiful well thought out space which was full of high quality amenities. Super clean but homely, it had literally everything we needed. Kate and Greg were extremely personable hosts and made us feel really welcome in their home. Its a great location for exploring the Cotswolds and close to lots of great places but quiet enough to escape it all. We could have quite easily stayed the rest of the week.
